
2010 PSRL Rules and Regulations

PARAMETERS FOR ALL REGULAR POINTS RACES
1. All races will be held via IP on the PSRL server. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
2. All races will be 35% distance unless otherwise specified in the weekly RDI.
3. Practice opens at 8:00 pm EST, it ends at 8:45 pm EST. There will be a 15 minute cool down period and drivers meeting with qualifying beginning at 9:00pm EST sharp. Any change in start time and all registered driver will be notified one week in advance.
4. All races will be on Tuesday nights unless otherwise noted in the 2010 schedule.
5. All races will be fixed setups.
6. All drivers get a spot in the field, you do not have to qualify.
7. Yellows on, pace on, double file re-starts on, all realistic settings.
8. Temperature and weather conditions set to random.
9. Points calculated with Rathbones points calculator.
10. Please check weekly info page for current event information.
11. Substitute drivers are not permitted, you must attend or use one of the four provisionals you are granted.
12. No multi night drivers, this series is designed for all unique drivers. Two or more drivers may ban together to form a team within this series but each driver must have his own separate id. Concerning user ID's, points scoring will mirror the stn file created at the end of each event.
13. Points provisionals may be e-mailed to psrlpts@yahoo.com If it is not received with 24 hours of the events end it will not be counted. No Exceptions.

13B. As a reminder, all provisionals need to be sent in within 24 hours of the events end to be counted. Provisionals aren't given automatically. Exceptions for the 24 hour requirement include: family or personal emergencies, loss of electricity or cable, or any other event that keeps you away from your email service for an extended period beyond your control. |
1. One truck file per entry.
2. No fighting,harrassing,arguing,bickering or other disruptive activity will be tolerated.
3. No profanity.
4. No chatting during qualifying and green flag runs.
5. "No racing back to the caution until 10 to go, lead lap trucks move up, maintain a constant gradually reduced speed and hold position to allow lapped trucks a chance to get a lap back...safely." The leader should never drop speed abruptly to allow a truck to get a lap back, this will keep trucks from piling into one another coming to the caution. "Lapped trucks wrecking to get a lap back could be penalized."... so drive safely.
5B. - "If a caution comes out with 10 laps or fewer to go lapped trucks shall come down pit road the second time around and pick up the back of the field."
6. Do not pass before the start/finish line on starts and re-starts. You may pass to the outside only if another driver has a issue in front of you. Do not violate rule # 7.
7. No jumping or laying back on starts and re-starts. This will be closely monitored and will draw a points fine every time.
8. No lucky dog.
9. No excessive blocking, defined as mirror driving to prevent someone from passing. Blocking or mirror driving is only acceptable inside TWO laps to go. You may block AI trucks at any time.
10. No exceptions on black flags. You must observe all black flags and if DQ'ed for black flag infraction, no points will be awarded for that event. UPDATE 3/11/06 - In the event a wrongful black flag was received and a replay can be provided from the driver that shows the incident in question, it will be considered.
11. Bump drafting is acceptable but will be monitored closely for excessive or improper use(and may also draw a points fine.)
12. Use track lay-out as designed. Pitting entry and exits per Nextel Cup rules. 2/25/06 - UPDATE - When entering pits signal by auto chat on the backstretch before you enter and when exiting pits stay below the inbound line until you reach the backstretch, both sets of wheels must stay below the line. NO EXCEPTIONS!
13. Signal all pit stop entries and exits in a timely manner. No auto chat faking green flag stops.
14 On caution flags follow the pace line and line up properly.
15. Do not hold up pace line. This will draw a one lap black flag penalty.
16 No over agressive driving during green flag runs. .
17 The CTS Expansion pack has the green, white, checkered finish add on that comes with the software. Simply put, pay attention, know your rules and pit requirements. Be aware.
18. Retaliation for a wreck, either under yellow or green, will NOT be tolerated and will draw a penalty.
